Why Are Pakistan’s T20 Stars Returning Home Now?

After beating the West Indies 2-1, three members of Pakistan’s T20I team will start their trip back home. Khushdil Shah, Haris Rauf, and Sahibzada Farhan are the three players who will leave for Pakistan. Fakhar Zaman, a top-order hitter who was ruled out of the current tour, will travel tomorrow.

Pakistan’s 15-man team for the ODI series against the West Indies, on the other hand, will travel for Trinidad and Tobago tonight. The Brian Lara Cricket Academy will host the three ODIs on August 8, 10, and 12.

The Green Shirts won the T20I series against the West Indies by winning the third and final game by a thrilling 13 runs. The visitors scored an impressive 189 runs in 20 overs, thanks to openers Sahibzada Farhan and Saim Ayub.

Farhan scored the most runs for Pakistan, with 74 runs off of 53 balls. Ayub scored 66 runs off of 49 balls. The two also opened the innings with a 138-run partnership. The hosts were able to score 176/6, even though Alick Athanaze and Sherfane Rutherford both hit half-centuries.

Hasan Ali, Haris Rauf, Mohammad Nawaz, Ayub, and Sufiyan Muqeem all took one wicket for Pakistan.
