Bangladesh Stars Should Play in PSL, Says Najmul Hossain Shanto

Particularly the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto supported his compatriots to participate in the foreign franchise leagues in order to acquire useful experience.
Scheduled to run from April 11 to May 18, the player draft for the tenth PSL included three Bangladeshi cricket players overall. Peshawar Zalmi selected right-arm pacer Nahid Rana; Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars separately grabbed Litton Das and Rishad Hossain.
Remember, Zimbabwe will be hosted by Bangladesh for a two-match Test series from April 20 to May 5.
The captain of Bangladesh meanwhile underlined the benefits of playing in the franchise leagues and reported a good improvement in the workload control of pacer Rana.
“So, for our cricket, he (Nahid) is a fantastic asset. Najmul Hossain Shanto stated, “We are witnessing the kind of conversation occurring around him in world cricket.”
“The nicest thing is that Abahani’s workload is being extremely carefully managed by the professionals working with him and the physiotherapists of the national team. He is playing matches in this manner, and thanks God he has been fit and kept his vitality.
“Participating in such competitions is, in my opinion, crucial. We ought to definitely play franchise cricket. But this totally relies on the cricket board, the captains, and the coaches.
“Our players should participate in these franchise leagues like the PSL; this will enable them to acquire experience and develop their sense of accountability.” Thus, the general experience and sharing of a changing room with foreign players will be priceless. I believe going forward our cricketers will have the chance to participate in similar events.
