Major update on resumption of PSL 10

With plans to formalize the schedule for the event, the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 is anticipated to commence between May 16 and 18. According to sources, these days are under consideration for the continuation of the last few fixtures.
To guarantee seamless planning and effective running of the matches, the PSL government is in continuous talks with pertinent parties. The PSL government is still hopeful about completing the agenda; indications indicate that an official statement will be issued today.
Should the matches start on May 16, all teams are scheduled to gather in Islamabad by the night of May 14. There were just eight matches left in PSL 10, hence the postponement happened during its last stage.
Cross-border tensions between India and Pakistan caused the delay; however, it is most likely that both PSL 10 and IPL 2025 would start in the next days after the agreed ceasefire. Having already qualified for the playoffs, Quetta Gladiators lead the points standings with six wins, two losses, and one no-result from nine matches after 27 games.
With 10 points, Karachi Kings are in second place, having won five games and lost three in eight matches. Following five victories and four losses from nine games, defending champions Islamabad United are in third place, also with ten points.
With nine points and four victories, four losses, and one no-result, Lahore Qalandars are fourth. Also, with eight points gained from four victories in nine games, Peshawar Zalmi comes in fifth.
With only one win and eight losses from their nine games, Multan Sultans have sadly been kicked out of postseason contention.
