Iran's National Development Fund reveals its currency reserves
Iran’s National Development Fund holds around $30 billion in currency reserves, according to Chairman Mehdi Ghazanfari. The National Iranian Oil Company owes the fund $17 billion, which could be redirected to new projects if repaid.
