Will Babar Azam Make ODI History Soon?

Pakistan was closer to two photography milestones since star batter Babar Azam is likely to surpass 7000 runs in the one-day internationals and score 2000 runs with the bat in the three-match series against West Indies, which begins with the first game on Friday at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Tarouba.
The 30 year old will match the One-Day International (ODI) record set by the great opener Saeed Anwar of most centuries by a Pakistani in ODIs. Anwar made 20 centuries in 247 matches and 244 innings. Former captain, who is now at the brink of touching 19 centuries in 131 games; 128 innings, would just have to receive a ton to break Anwar long standing record.
Besides surpassing the existing record by Saeed Anwar, the 30 year old is also set to become the 2nd quickest to reach 20 centuries in ODIs in history.
The right-handed batsman scored 19 centuries in 128 innings, which is near the record of Virat Kohli of 20 centuries in 133 innings.
Should he make one more century in his next four, he will leapfrog Kohli and become the second quickest to score 100 centuries – after South Africa batsman Hashim Amla who did the same in 108 innings.
