The new €18 million Polish fund vastpoint has just launched, led by ex-entrepreneurs from ElevenLabs and Y Combinator

Warsaw’s vastpoint, a new VC firm, is launching today with €18 million and a mission to back Poland’s most ambitious early-stage tech Founders with Seed investments – leveraging its dual presence in Warsaw and New York to connect startups with global partners and investors.
The inaugural fund vastpoint I is launched in partnership with PFR Ventures, the largest fund-of-funds manager in CEE, under the European Funds for Smart Economy programme.
“We are building vastpoint to be the partner we wish we’d had,” said Founding partner Aleksandra Pedraszewska. “We’ve all lived the journey of building something from nothing. Capital is key, but a true understanding of the chaos of the early days is our real differentiator.”
The firm is led by three founding partners – Aleksandra Pedraszewska, Karolina Kukiełka, and Zuzanna Brzosko; Poles with entrepreneurial, operational, and investment experience from top global institutions and scale-ups including ElevenLabs, Y Combinator, and European VC firms.
The announcement comes as Poland joins the world’s top 20 largest economies this year, solidifying its status as one of the European powerhouses.
This dynamic growth has fueled a new wave of world-class technical talent, producing global category leaders like ElevenLabs, Iceye, and Booksy. However, vastpoint says a critical gap remains in bridging local innovation with international commercialisation.
Vastpoint is designed to be that bridge, partnering with Polish Founders to help them build for the global market from day one. The firm focuses on Seed investments in AI, B2B SaaS, and HealthTech.
“Central and Eastern European (CEE) Founders have proven they can build world-class products, but they often struggle to access the right global networks and secure scale-up funding,” said Karolina Kukiełka. “Operating from Warsaw and New York, our role is to be that bridge, offering a direct gateway to the commercial partners and top-tier VCs needed to compete on the global stage.”
Vastpoint’s core strength lies in its team’s hands-on experience as Founders and operators.
- Pedraszewska brings hypergrowth experience from the AI unicorn ElevenLabs, where she joined early to build safety operations and core partnerships. She was previously a Co-founder and COO of a Cambridge-based DeepTech startup and has mentored dozens of Founders in leading UK accelerators, including Conception X.
- Kukiełka has nearly a decade of tech investing experience in London’s VC scene, backing SaaS founders across Europe. A former Founder and investment banker, she combines operational know-how with strategic insight to guide teams from first check through Series A.
- Brzosko is the former Founder and CEO of a UK-based BioTech startup backed by Y Combinator during Sam Altman’s tenure. A PhD in Neuroscience from Cambridge, she led transactions totalling over $2 billion at global pharmaceutical giant Eli Lilly.
“Building a category-defining company requires relentless grit and it’s easier with guidance from those who have done it before,” added Zuzanna Brzosko. “Our network includes unicorn Founders like Mati Staniszewski of ElevenLabs and Thomas Clozel of Owkin, and we’re excited to bring this calibre mentorship to Poland’s boldest Founders.”
To further fuel the growth of the Polish tech ecosystem, vastpoint will invest alongside leading US and European VC firms that are increasingly interested in CEE, but often seek a trusted local partner to derisk the opportunity.
