The Daily Show gleefully recaps the viral clash between Tucker Carlson and Ted Cruz

Donald Trump's indecision over whether or not to join Israel's war against Iran has led to some infighting in his own camp, an example of which occurred on Wednesday, when Tucker Carlson sat down opposite Senator Ted Cruz for a TV interview on Carlson's own network.
"On the one side is Ted Cruz, who wants war with Iran. On the other is Tucker Carlson, who thinks Ted Cruz doesn't know shit about Iran," says Daily Show host Jordan Klepper in the clip above, before playing a clip of Carlson asking a struggling Cruz about the country's population.
"Oh, damn Ted Cruz! Are you a pair of $800 Ferragamo boat shoes? Because Tucker Carlson owned you, buddy," Klepper says. "Ted Cruz was like, 'I know the population, just give me a second to count, OK? Let's see, there's the Ayatollah, that's one, the Iron Sheik, that's two, er, is Aladdin one, I don't...know?"
Klepper follows that up with more clips of the two of them arguing, culminating in Cruz and Carlson yelling that the other one doesn't know anything about Iran.
"This is awesome! 'You don't know anything,' 'No, you don't know anything!' I don't care about who wins the fight, I just like watching the fight! It's like Alien vs. Predator, but somehow more gross."
