Spain’s Amenitiz expands to 15,000+ hotels and processes €3 billion in bookings ahead of new €38.9 million funding

Amenitiz, a Barcelona-based all-in-one management system for independent hoteliers, today announced it has raised €38.9 million ($45 million) in a mix of Series B funding and financing.

This round is led by leading Spanish fund Kfund through Leadwind (its growth fund) with participation from San Francisco-based hospitality specialist Thayer Ventures, and Columbia Lake Partners, with continued support from all existing investors, including Eight Roads, Point9, Otium, Backed, and Chalfen Ventures.

Alexandre Guinefolleau, co-founder and CEO of Amenitiz, said: “My parents run a hotel, so I’ve seen firsthand how hard it is for independents to compete without the right tools. The rise of AI and the digital transformation of hospitality create a once-in-a-generation opportunity for small hotels to leap ahead. This funding allows us to accelerate that mission – so hoteliers can spend less time managing systems and more time creating memorable guest experiences.”

Amenitiz’s latest Series B round comes amid a strong 2025 funding trend in European hospitality and travel technology.

In Austria, chatlyn secured €8 million to advance its AI communication hub for hotels, while UK-based Nory raised €31 million to expand its AI-driven operations management system for restaurants and hospitality venues. The Netherlands also saw activity with Toppi raising nearly €1 million for its AI solutions for hospitality SMEs, and Maps Untold closing a €350k pre-Seed round to personalise city-guide experiences. Meanwhile, Italy’s Hotiday attracted €5.5 million to develop its decentralised hotel concept.

Against this backdrop, Amenitiz stands out as one of the few Spain-based hospitality SaaS platforms to secure significant growth-stage investment this year, reinforcing investor confidence in technology solutions tailored to independent hotels across Europe.

Pablo Ventura, Partner at Kfund, added: “Independent hotels are the backbone of European hospitality, yet for too long they’ve been left behind by technology built for chains. Amenitiz is changing that by giving independents the same digital advantages – without the complexity or cost. They’re on track to become the default platform for independent hotels across Europe.”

Amenitiz’s vision is to make independent hoteliers the most successful segment in the hospitality industry. Founded in 2017, Amenitiz is a leading management system for independent hotels, trusted by 15,000+ properties.

This new funding will accelerate AI-driven product innovation, the launch of new revenue-generating products, and market expansion as Amenitiz continues to scale its platform across Europe.

Since closing its Series A in 2022, Amenitiz has grown nearly fourfold – from 4,000 to 15,000+ properties across Europe. Over the last 18 months, Amenitiz-powered hotels have welcomed more than 15 million guests and processed over €3 billion in bookings.

Lucile Cornet, Partner at Eight Roads Ventures, said: “Independent hotels make up the majority of the market, but most tech solutions still ignore their needs. Amenitiz has proven that purpose-built software for independents can scale fast – and with 15,000+ properties already onboard, they’re redefining what technology can do for this segment.”

Independent hoteliers represent the backbone of European hospitality – more than 750,000 properties and over 80% of the hotel market – yet Amenitiz says that for decades they have been underserved by technology built for chains. As AI and digital transformation reshape the travel sector and guest expectations, for the first time independents have a chance not only to catch up, but to pull ahead.

The platform claims to replace the complexity of juggling multiple systems with one seamless digital solution that brings together reservations, operations, payments, online presence, and revenue management.

For hoteliers, the results are tangible: they reportedly save hours every week, maximise occupancy, simplify cash flow with integrated payments – and overall, they benefit from technology that evolves with changing guest expectations.

Since its Series A, Amenitiz has enhanced its core software while launching two features:

  • AmenitizBoost, which helps hotels boost their visibility, attract more direct bookings and increase revenue through online ads and metasearch
  • PriceAdvisor, an integrated revenue management tool that enables hoteliers to increase revenue by up to 20% through intelligent pricing optimisation.

With this Series B funding, Amenitiz will continue to launch new revenue-generating products and expand into new markets. Most importantly, the company will accelerate AI-driven product innovation, with the ultimate goal of putting AI in the hands of every independent hotelier across Europe.

Chris Hemmeter, Partner at Thayer Ventures, added: “Hospitality is undergoing a digital reset, and independents can no longer afford to lag behind. Amenitiz has built Europe’s largest platform focused entirely on this segment, enabling hoteliers to compete with chains and OTAs on equal footing. Their momentum and execution make them a global force in HospitalityTech.”

EU-Startups has followed Amenitiz’s growth closely over the years.

The platform first appeared in 2019, when Amenitiz raised €620k in Seed funding to develop its property-management system for independent hotels. Two years later, in 2021, we reported that the Barcelona-based startup secured €6.5 million to help small hoteliers streamline operations. In April 2022, EU-Startups highlighted Amenitiz’s €27 million Series A round, describing it as Spain’s largest SaaS Series A at the time.

Later that year, we also covered the company’s first acquisition, noting that Amenitiz had acquired Ododo to further support Europe’s independent hotel segment.
