Slovak company InoBat launches the first purely European battery for drones

Bratislava – The Slovak company InoBat is launching the first fully European battery E10 Cell designed specifically for drones and unmanned aerial systems (UAS). The introduction of the new battery strengthens Slovakia’s position as a key player in technological innovations within the European Union and NATO, InoBat stated on Monday. This innovation also represents the company’s expansion beyond electric vehicles and aviation, TASR reports.
“Our mission is to bring Europe back to the forefront of strategic industries. The E10 battery ensures that the European Union becomes a leader in energy independence for drones, setting a new standard for safe and sovereign energy solutions,” stated InoBat CEO and co-founder Marián Boček.
The company clarified that the E10 Cell battery is a response to the demand for safe and powerful energy solutions that provide longer range and faster deployment. The battery is expected to have five times faster charging, 40% longer flight time, and 60% higher payload capacity compared to conventional graphite anode-based batteries. This means more efficient deployment of drones in both defense and civilian operations, whether for border monitoring, reconnaissance, or rescue operations.
“With the E10, we are not just bringing a battery; we are bringing energy independence for high-performance aerial systems. In this time of global instability, safe and sovereign European technology is not just an option, it is a necessity,” concluded InoBat Chairman Andy Palmer.
