Seth Meyers mocks Trumps Truth Social rant about the NYT
Another day, another Truth Social rant from the president.
In the Late Night clip above Seth Meyers runs through the latest headlines, one of which from the NYT focussed on the "signs of fatigue" Trump is reportedly experiencing in office as he grows older. Needless to say, the president wasn't happy — but Meyers was.
"President Trump criticised the New York Times in a post on Truth Social today for publishing an article that argues he has slowed down due to ageing, and called the newspaper a 'cheap RAG'," says Meyers. "And nothing says 'I'm not old' like calling a newspaper a cheap rag. That's definitely how young people talk. 'Those muckrakers!'"
