Senegal to appeal being stripped of AFCON title, handing 2025 championship to Morocco
The Senegalese national football team said they will appeal after they were stripped of their Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) victory on Tuesday, with Morocco declared the new 2025 champions over a protest walk-off during the final in January.
