Request to the ICC Prosecutor to investigate international crimes committed against civilians in El Fasher (Darfur) and to examine the alleged responsibility of external actors within the RSF support chain
A group of Sudanese victims has submitted a communication to the ICC Prosecutor requesting an investigation into international crimes committed in El Fasher, Darfur, on 26 October 2025. The filing targets both RSF perpetrators and, for the first time, external actors allegedly supporting the militia, including Emirati officials. It cites documented war crimes, torture, and sexual violence, and calls for accountability under Articles 25(3)(c) and (d) of the Rome Statute.
