Kyrgyzstan nearly doubles revenue from Google tax
The “Google ”tax”—taxes imposed on large multinational digital companies—was introduced in 2022 to ensure that foreign online platforms providing services to Kyrgyz users contribute to the national tax base. The rate is set at 12 percent of the value of services sold.
