EU supports the recovery of economic operators affected by floods in BiH
Sarajevo (Fena) – The European Union, through the project supporting flood recovery in BiH, has announced a public call for the selection of aid beneficiaries for business entities affected by the floods that hit the country in October 2024. The project is funded by the EU and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM), in partnership with the Impakt Investment Foundation and the LINK Entrepreneurship Center.
Non-refundable funds of up to 12,200 KM per company are available to business entities from the areas of Jablanica, Konjic, Fojnica, Kreševo, Kiseljak, Vareš, Mostar and Drvar, along with additional mentoring and advisory support in the business recovery process. Special attention is given to entities that employ women, young people and persons with disabilities, as well as those that promote sustainability and digitalization in their operations.
The aim of the project is to contribute to the recovery of companies, the preservation of jobs and the continuation of business activities in the affected local communities. (9.1.)
