In an Instagram post shared on Tuesday, 5 September, Expresso presenter, Palesa Tembe took to her social media and announced that she threw her stepson’s birthday for the first time. This comes after taking things to the next level with businessman, Mandlenkosi Veli Ngubane earlier this year.

On 24 March, Palesa Tembe announced she was off the market after MandlenkosiVeli Ngubane’s uncles paid lobola for her. In May, she rushed to her social media again and showed off pictures from her lavish and romantic engagement. According to his LinkedIn account, Ngubane has a Bachelor of Social Science qualification, a Political Economics qualification, and a Marketing certificate. In 2012, he founded Avatar, a successful digital marketing agency. The agency is 100 per cent black-owned agency, Bizcommunity reported.

Earlier this month, Tembe hosted her stepson, Aiko’s third birthday party and shared that it was her “first time planning a kiddie’s party”.

“This little bundle of energy and light celebrated his 3rd birthday over the weekend and what a party it was. Surrounded by friends and family who love him, we gave thanks to The Lord for his life. I’d also like to thank everyone who showed up and showed him love,” she said.

“This was my first time planning a kiddie’s party, and I gotta salute all moms and dads out there… however, I don’t think I did too badly either,” the stunning presenter added.

Palesa Tembe pulled off the stops and had a jumping castle, games, a puppet show, a couple of jungle gyms, a cake, and other foods and drinks in place on the day. She also invited a couple of friends with their kids to celebrate with her new family members.

“He was so into each game and activity, he barely cared about his cake and prezzies. Ok who am I kidding, I think it was a draw. But truly, the @clamber_club_parties_sandton made this 3-year-old the happiest kid in the world and me, South Africa’s best stepmom, for at least an hour or two,” she said.
