I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: Crofton is a gem in a sea of cookware brands. The ALDI brand is responsible for some of my favorite cookware pieces to date, such as this hefty cast iron roaster, and—my favorite—this beautiful 2-quart Dutch oven. These products are not only stylish, reliable, and extremely versatile, but they’re budget-friendly, too.

As someone whose cookware collection is constantly growing, I love Crofton products. They are ideal for both seasoned chefs and first-time buyers.

Since we’re on the subject of cookware fit for a first-time buyer, I’d be remiss not to highlight the return of ALDI's 2-piece fry pan set, which I consider a must-have for any budding home cook.

Why I Love ALDI's Crofton Fry Pan Set

ALDI's 8- and 10-inch nonstick pans are a cookware staple. With two sizes at your disposal, this upgraded set allows home cooks to tackle a variety of meals with ease and a touch of style. At $19.99, Crofton serves up cream and lilac colorways. The pans have a nonstick interior and stainless steel handles and are compatible with all cooking surfaces.

The durable aluminum surface boasts even heat distribution and a convenient nonstick finish that's easy to cook with. Best of all, these pans are a breeze to clean. A quick wash with dish soap, warm water, and a soft sponge does the trick. The nonstick surface never fails, and down the road, when it is eventually too scratched up to use anymore (it happens even to the best nonstick pans), I don’t feel so bad about throwing the pan away since it was so affordable.

How I Cook With ALDI's Crofton Fry Pan Set

It doesn’t get any better than the smell of fried eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns in the morning, which is exactly what I like to make with my Crofton fry pans.

More recently, I’ve been obsessed with learning one-pan recipes, and the 10-inch fry pan is ideal. It’s large enough to cook a family-sized meal, and its high sides prevent food splatters while I’m cooking. Speaking of the high sides, this feature is ideal for simmering soups, braising meats, and sauteing vegetables, making the pan a one-stop shop for a variety of meals.

However, some maintenance is required when caring for a nonstick pan. Avoid using metal utensils, which will scratch the surface. Additionally, wash the pans with a soft sponge or washcloth, as steel wool and harsh scrubbing will decrease the life of the pan.
