Tajikistan’s credit institutions boost lending
Tajikistan’s credit institutions issued 9.1 billion somoni (around $881 million) in loans from January through April 2025, up 37 percent year-on-year. However, only 14 percent went to agriculture and 11 percent to industry—levels deemed insufficient for sustainable growth.
