T20 World Cup 2026 Tickets Launch
Only today, when the tickets of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 are sold, the countdown to one of the most expected worldwide cricket events begins. International Cricket Council (ICC) verified the development via its social media platforms on Thursday, as it announced that the time of opening the ticket window will be 6.15 PM Pakistan Standard Time (PST).
In one of the promotional messages, the ICC encouraged fans all over to buy their tickets once they are sold. “Your seat is waiting. Get your tickets… and sit with fans all over the globe in the stadiums, said the apex body as it released a little teaser.
Although the sale date and time are already set, the ICC has not published the information about the types of tickets, price levels, hospitality packages and official seat assignments. This information is anticipated to be unveiled at the ticket portal, which will be launched later this day.
Men T20 World Cup 2026 The 10th edition of the T20 world cup will be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka, between February 7 and March 8. This version will include 20 teams comprising of four groups of five teams with the best two teams in each group advancing to the Super Eight level. There, the teams will be divided into two pools consisting of four to choose out the semi-finalists.
The opening day will be dramatic as it will be Pakistan vs Netherlands and hosts India against USA in Mumbai. It ends with the group stage on February 20 and the Super Eight round is begun the following day.
The great finale will be held on March 8 and the venue will be decided on based on the progress of Pakistan. In case Pakistan qualifies, the final will take place in Colombo, otherwise, Ahmedabad will be the venue of the showdown.
As the world gets excited and the sale of tickets commences today, the fans of cricket are looking forward to an exciting month long festival of T20 cricket.
