SUDANESE VICTIMS FILE SANCTIONS REQUEST TO THE EUROPEAN UNION’S HIGH REPRESENTATIVE
On 10 May 2026, Sudanese victims represented by law firm DEMAIN filed a sanctions request with EU High Representative Kaja Kallas under the EU Global Human Rights Sanctions Regime. The petition targets Emirati officials and Sudanese businessmen allegedly linked to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), citing documented war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide. Victims demand asset freezes, travel bans and immediate cessation of foreign support to end civilian suffering after four years of devastating conflict.
