“See You in Final”: Sahibzada Confident of Another Ind-Pakistan Showdown

Pakistan opener Sahibzada Farhan thinks that before the end of the Asia Cup 2025, there might be one more no-holds-barred match between India and Pakistan.
Addressing the reporters before Pakistan was scheduled to have the most essential Super Four match with Sri Lanka, the formidable batter assured that both opponents would meet again in the championship game on Sunday. Farhan announced in a strong tone that Pakistan was sure to meet India in the final, although their team had recently lost.
Farhan was amongst a select few to shine light on the Pakistani side in their recent outing, scoring 171 with a fluent 58 off 45 balls. Pakistan’s threat had been much larger in terms of overall total since the team had gotten to 93 in a single inside the first 10 overs, but the Indian bowlers had re-taken the situation, and their batters were then pursuing the target with half a dozen wickets in hand.
Looking back at his half-century celebration, which he celebrated animatedly, Farhan disclosed that it was an unplanned event. After fifty, I hardly rejoice. It was simply a coincidence at the time. It can be perceived in any manner by people, he said.
The conflict between the two teams is an issue of discussion. India’s Abhishek Sharma suggested the remaining friction when he noted that Pakistan did not need to act in such a manner on the field during the last match.
Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha replied that his team is yet to find the game where their performance would be perfect and said that the offensive use of powerplay batting shifted the tide against Pakistan to India.
Bangladesh is also a contender, and Sri Lanka will have to wait to face Pakistan. With Pakistan next to Bangladesh, the road to the September 28 final is not yet closed. However, Farhan’s dramatic assertion has already predetermined a possible third confrontation between the sport’s most bitter opponents.
