PSL 11 Emerging Team: Who Dominated?
The PSL 11 Emerging Team has once again been a point of debate between fans following the tournament which saw new generation of standout performers emerge. The chosen team can be seen as a move towards a more aggressive and fearless young cricketer. In the spotlight is the Islamabad United player, Sameer Minhas. He topped the batting charts of the emerging players with 349 runs.
A contemporary T20 attitude is reflected in his strike rate of 155.80. He did not simply run. He managed to manage innings when there was pressure. It also includes in the batting team Shamyl Hussain of Quetta Gladiators and Maaz Sadaqat of Hyderabad Kingsmen. Both players demonstrated a calmness that was far beyond their experience.
