PCB Announces Ticket Prices for Australia T20Is

On Thursday, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officially announced the ticket prices of the three-match series of T20 Internation between Pakistan and Australia to be hosted in Gaddafi Stadium, later this month.

The PCB said that tickets would be sold online starting Friday and the physical tickets will be sold at the countrywide TCS express centres starting Monday, January 19, starting at 10:00am. Each of the three matches will start at 6:00pm (PKT) and will take place on January 29, 31 and February 1.

On the first T20I, the VIP enclosures in Fazal Mahmood and Imran Khan stands have been charged PKR 800. The premium enclosures such as Rajas and Saeed Anwar will be of PKR 600, and the first-class enclosures will cost PKR 500. General enclosure tickets will have a price of PKR 400.

PKR 1,500 will be the price of the VIP tickets at Iqbal End and PKR 2,000 will be the price of the VIP at the Jinnah End. PKR 5,000 will be sold as Hospitality Gallery tickets to the first match.

The cost of a ticket will be higher in the second and third T20Is and VIP and Premium stands will cost PKR 1,000 and PKR 700 respectively and First Class and General stands will cost PKR 600 and PKR 500 respectively. The cost of Hospitality Gallery ticket in the last two matches will be PKR 6,000.

The series is perceived as one of the major preparatory stages of the two teams prior to the ICC Men T20 World Cup that will take place in India and Sri Lanka next month. Pakistan and Australia have had 28 T20I battles with Australia having a slight advantage in the head to head record.
