Kazakhstan to purchase electricity from Tajikistan
Tajikistan's Rogun Hydropower Plant supplies Kazakhstan's RFC for RES with electricity under a long-term power cooperation deal. The 20-year, 10-year extension deal covers peak-hour electricity supply via interstate power lines, a $0.034 per kWh (excluding transit costs) pricing, and U.S. PPI-based annual price indexation.
