Kazakhstan sees drop in credit card issuance by June 2025
The number of credit cards in Kazakhstan is declining, with Visa and MasterCard credit cards decreasing as of mid-2025. However, active usage of credit cards is rising. Meanwhile, prepaid and debit cards with credit limits, especially MasterCard, are growing significantly.
