Kallas: Israel’s actions go far beyond self-defense
LUXEMBOURG (ANP) – “Israel has the right to defend itself, but its current actions go beyond proportional self-defense,” said Kallas after a meeting with the EU foreign ministers.
“The humanitarian aid we provide to Gaza and the Palestinians must not be politicized. It means that aid must reach the people in need,” Kallas said.
The EU ministers believe that the mediators must return to the negotiating table, she added. The ceasefire must also be resumed and all hostages released.
