IEA highlights rising low-carbon share in MENA power generation
The electricity mix in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region remains overwhelmingly dependent on fossil fuels, which accounted for nearly 95% of supply in 2023, according to the International Energy Agency (IEA).
