IEA forecasts modest growth in North American gas demand through 2026
Natural gas consumption in North America rose by nearly 2.5% year-on-year in the first half of 2025, driven largely by a colder-than-usual winter and spring that boosted heating needs, according to the International Energy Agency (IEA).
