‘I love you’: Burna Boy speaks out after postponing SA concert
Nigerian singer Burna Boy has spoken out after cancelling his Johannesburg concert: 'I will see you again real soon'.
Nigerian singer Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu MFR, popularly known as Burna Boy, has spoken out after cancelling his Johannesburg concert four days ahead of it’s scheduled date on 23 September.
BURNA BOY SPEAKS OUT AFTER POSTPONING SA CONCERT
Burna Boy has spoken out via his Instagram Story on Tuesday 19 September, after postponing his Johannesburg concert scheduled for 23 September. He seemingly clapped back at speculations surrounding the reason why the concert was postponed saying that “no dead agenda can agend”.
He went on to say that he loves South Africans and will see them again soon. The concert was postponed to 16 December.
“I was in SA last year and I had 100 thousand of the most beautiful South Africans outside for me. So, no dead agenda can agend,” he wrote.
“I will see you again real soon South Africa. I you,” he continued.
THE SINGER POSTPONES JOHANNESBURG CONCERT
Stadium Management South Africa informed suite owners that the event organisers – Ternary Media Group have postponed the show on Tuesday 19 September.
“On the morning of September 19, 2023, Ternary Media Group, the event promoter, notified Stadium Management South Africa and SAIL that the highly anticipated Burna Boy live music concert, which was initially planned to take place at FNB Stadium on September 23, 2023, had been postponed,” read the statement.
