Dutch men’s health startup Fellos lands €2 million to tackle sensitive issues like ED and PE through telehealth

The Amsterdam-based online clinic Fellos is scaling rapidly: the platform has raised over €2 million in growth capital from strategic investors, including a group of healthcare professionals, Dutch Operator Fund, and Capital Mills.
The platform currently focuses on three areas where men often face barriers to seeking help: sexual health (such as erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation), skin conditions (acne), and hair loss. With the new capital, Fellos will further expand its healthcare services, enabling even more men to get help for a wide range of health issues.
“With Fellos, we want to lower the barriers for men to access healthcare,” say Fellos Founders Sibren Tolsma and Rob Smeitink. “We see that men often wait too long – and unnecessarily – before addressing their symptoms. Our digital approach makes it easier to take the first step toward a solution. This investment enables us to launch new care areas and broaden our mission.”
Fellos’s growth capital raise aligns with a broader 2025 surge in European digital health investment. Larger platforms such as Numan (UK) secured €51.6 million to scale its preventative healthcare model and expand into women’s health, while ViCentra (Netherlands) raised €72.4 million to boost production of its insulin patch pump.
Earlier-stage innovators like XUND (Austria) and Jutro Medical (Poland) have attracted funding for AI-driven patient-care tools and hybrid clinic models. In the more specialised male-health segment, Comphya (Switzerland) raised €8 million for its implantable neurostimulation device addressing erectile dysfunction.
Within this context, Fellos’s funding underscores continued investor confidence in accessible, digital-first healthcare – and, as another Dutch HealthTech alongside ViCentra, highlights the Netherlands’ growing role in Europe’s MedTech and Telehealth landscape.
Harry van den Brink, one of the medical investors, adds: “I support Fellos’ mission and see the demand for online healthcare growing rapidly. Through Fellos, we offer a valuable addition to the current healthcare landscape and make care more accessible. With my medical background, I hope to make a meaningful contribution.”
Since its launch in 2024, Fellos has experienced notable growth, with more than 10,000 patients already receiving treatment. Fellos provides men with easy, fully digital access to healthcare. Through an online (chat) consultation, men can connect with a GP and, if needed, receive medication discreetly delivered to their home via a partner pharmacy.
Jeroen Bertrams and Sjoerd van Berkel of Dutch Operator Fund I add: “The team is
responding to a massive market demand and has proven their approach works in a
short time. The rapid growth to 10,000 patients confirms that men are looking for this
type of accessible healthcare.”
Fellos emphasises that the Netherlands is still lagging behind countries like the UK and Germany when it comes to digital healthcare. With their platform, Fellos aims to close this gap and make digital care available in a reliable, secure, and accessible way.
