DOJ sues New Jersey over Sherrill order meant to rein in ICE
The Department of Justice (DOJ) filed a Monday lawsuit against New Jersey and its Gov. Mikie Sherrill (D), over a recent executive order that bans Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) from state property without a judicial warrant.
