CNPC remains leading Chinese investor in Kazakhstan, EDB says
China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) has remained the dominant Chinese investor in Kazakhstan since 2016, although its investments have gradually declined due to asset depreciation and a lack of new large projects, according to the bank.
