Azerbaijani banks’ net foreign assets edge upward in May 2025
Azerbaijan's commercial banks saw a nearly 34% growth in net foreign assets, reaching 5.168 billion manat by May 1. Despite this growth, the banks experienced a deficit in foreign liabilities, with net domestic assets showing a slight decline compared to the previous year.
