Azerbaijan spotlights state budget revenues and expenditures
In the first half of 2024, Azerbaijan's state budget revenues surpassed forecasts by 3.7%, reaching $11.6 billion, driven by higher-than-expected contributions from the State Tax Service, State Customs, and the State Oil Fund. While budget expenditures were close to forecasted figures, there was a notable shortfall in revenues from state-funded organizations' paid services.
