AI films that evolve in real time with classical music and audience interaction: OOVIE Studios raises €164k

Lugano-based OOVIE Studios has raised €164k (CHF 150k) from Venture Kick to develop ‘Music Interactive Movies’ – a new kind of interactive films that combines live music and cinema.

The funds will be used to accelerate business development and the development of the OO App, an application that will enable anyone to create a movie directly from music.

OOVIE Studios SA is deeply grateful to Venture Kick for its continued support throughout this journey,” says CMO Lorenzo Ramon. “The programme’s advice, recommendations, and guidance have been instrumental to our growth, challenging us to sharpen our vision and business model at each step of the process.”

In 2025 the European MusicTech and entertainment startup scene has seen a range of early-stage and growth funding rounds that provide context for OOVIE Studios’ €164k raise.

Notably, London’s fan3 (live events access platform) secured €4.2 m to scale its fan-first ticketing and scalper-resistant technology for live music events, targeting fairer access and deeper artist engagement in the entertainment sector. Around the same period, British startup Mozart AI (AI‑powered digital audio workstation) raised €616k in a pre-Seed round to build an AI-enhanced music creation tool aimed at boosting productivity for artists and producers. Additionally, earlier in 2025 Belgium’s Breakevent closed an €876k round to develop an AI platform supporting concert success and operations.

Taken together, this cluster of European funding in 2025 shows interest in music production tools, live event platform innovations, and AI-assisted music technology. OOVIE’s €164k funding for its interactive music-film platform sits at the pre-Seed end of this spectrum, highlighting the early stage nature of its immersive format relative to larger rounds in adjacent MusicTech niches.

Incorporated in May 2025 in Lugano, OOVIE Studios was founded by CEO Riccardo Acciarino, CCO Marco Seco, CTO Ignacio Palladino, COO Giulio Casagrande, and CMO Lorenzo Ramon. The team combines expertise in technology, live production, and entrepreneurship to translate musicians’ visions into Music interactive Movies.

The company outlines that classical music continues to face challenges in engaging younger and broader audiences, who increasingly seek immersive and multimedia experiences. While the artistic quality remains high, conventional performances often lack the interactive and dynamic elements that today’s audiences expect. This gap limits the sector’s ability to expand its reach and connect with new generations.

This is where OOVIE Studios looks to come in. Founded by musicians and entrepreneurs, OOVIE developed a technology for interactive films. Their narratives evolve in real time in response to musical interpretation and audience interaction, turning each performance into a living, unrepeatable experience.

This creates a bridge between two significant markets: music events seeking new formats to engage younger generations, and brands looking for more meaningful ways to connect with their communities.

One notable example includes the Music Interactive Movie created for Dell Technologies for the Dell Technologies Forum, presented in Zurich, Vienna, Düsseldorf, and Munich, and later featured by LaFil Filarmonica di Milano during the LIVE MUSIC. LIVING FILMS. tour stop in Milan.
