ADB notes significant improvements in Azerbaijan’s environmental management
Azerbaijan maintained a CASCI score of 4.2, according to the AWDO 2025 report. The country’s EGI improved from 6.2 in 2013 to 7.0 in both 2020 and 2025. Across the region, most countries recorded stable or declining CASCI values, ranging roughly from 2.6 to 5.6.
